- The pan with Eco-Chef Bottom is made of aluminum, a very
good heat conductor (rapid and evenly distributed heating) and
very light (reduces weight and facilitates the handling of kitchen
utensils).
- The interior of the pan is provided with a ceramic non-stick
coating.
- Unlike conventional Teflon non-stick coatings, the ceramic
coating is ecological since PFOA (perfluoroctanic acid) is not
used in its manufacture; CO2 emissions into the atmosphere
are reduced and it is more respectful of the environment.
- In addition, these ceramic coatings are completely harmless
to health, do not contain heavy metals and are very resistant
to high temperatures, scratches and wear and
tear caused by use.
- The Eco-Chef frying pan has a thermo-diffuser bottom that
promotes energy savings and uniform cooking and allows it
to be used on induction cookers.
