- With dual infrared-probe thermometer you can control perfectly
the temperature required in the preparation of your dishes.
- This dual thermometer has a stainless steel probe (absolutely
hygienic material, which does not affect the flavor of food),
which measures a range of temperatures between -55ºC and
330ºC, and an infrared meter, which measures a range between
- 33ºC and 220ºC.
- In the kitchen, temperature control is important: the
temperature of the ingredients before starting to prepare a
recipe, the temperature at which the oven is set, and the
temperature at which a food reaches its exact cooking point, it
is so important as the technique used and will enhance or detract
from the ingredients.
- Remember that a thermometer not only helps you reach the
desired point in your dishes, it also ensures the hygiene of your
food.
- Although the temperatures reached when cooking are normally
sufficient to eliminate microorganisms, the change in color or
texture of a cooked food does not always guarantee that safe
temperatures have been reached.
- The dual thermometer allows you to practically and accurately
see the temperature inside a food on its digital screen; Due to
its quick reading, it is ideal for large pieces, where this
parameter must be verified by inserting the probe in several
places.
- On the other hand, the infrared marker will measure the
temperature of the surface of the food, which makes it perfect
for controlling the temperature of liquids, creams... without
having to touch them, avoiding contamination or getting burned
by splashes.
- Precautions: The dual infrared-probe thermometer is not
designed to remain in the food during cooking, it should be used
shortly before the end of the estimated cooking time to verify
the final temperatures reached. Do not use it by leaving it in the
oven. The lens must always be kept clean. Do not turn the probe
in the wrong direction.
