- With the digital oven thermometer with probe you can check the
temperature without opening the oven door. The base unit is
provided with a digital display connected to a stainless steel
probe that is inserted into the oven (insert the probe into the
food to be cooked) and which, by means of a cable, records the
reading on the base unit, located outside.
- The base of the digital oven thermometer with probe is magnetic
to allow it to be attached to metal surfaces, and the screen is
foldable to protect it when not in use.
- In the kitchen, temperature control is important: the
temperature of the ingredients before starting to prepare a
recipe, the temperature at which the oven is set, and the
temperature at which a food reaches its exact cooking point, it is
so important as the technique used and will enhance or detract
from the ingredients.
- Remember that a thermometer not only helps you reach the
desired point in your dishes, it also ensures the hygiene of your
food.
- Although the temperatures reached when cooking are normally
sufficient to eliminate microorganisms, the change in color or
texture of a cooked food does not always guarantee that safe
temperatures have been reached.
- The temperature range that this thermometer measures goes
from 0ºC to 300ºC with a precision of 1 degree (between 0 and
130ºC, and 3º between 131 and 300º C), and it also has
measurement in degrees Fahrenheit, from 32 to 572º F.
- In addition to its basic use, this thermometer incorporates
additional functionalities: acoustic signal when reaching the
marked limit temperature, clock and timer, with up/down counter
(disconnecting and storing the cable and the probe when not used
as a thermometer can serve as a clock always in sight).
